HI! I’m Lisa, I’ve always loved baking and decorating but didn’t really dive into it until the past two years. I work as a nurse in Boston and care for patients who are either waiting for or just received some form of cardiac surgery including heart transplants and VAD’s. Sometimes I come home after a long shift and go right to working on a cake, it’s nice to just focus on decorating.

My husband and I have been married for almost 12 years and we have 3 kids, thats where the name Three Whisks came from! They love testing new flavors and seeing different designs. However, my 3 year old son gets very upset when he sees “his” cake leave the house!

How did a hobby turn into all of this? I started making fun cakes for my kids birthdays and right away couldn’t wait for another birthday to try a different design. This year, I made my daughters birthday cake for her and her friends and immediately after wanted to do another one so I started offering to do cakes for my coworkers. Now here we are! I can’t wait to see where this brings me!
